I have a 6 year old, a 3 year old and a 7 month old. I always knew that the Britax were THE seats to get, but I thought it was just a bunch of over-priced hype. Well, all the carseats that I bought for my 6 year old are getting outdated and starting to fall apart from repeated washings so I decided to up date our seats. I did a lot of reading reviews on amazon, as I'm sure you are as well right now, and decided to try the Boulevard for my 3 year old. My initial fear was that she would outgrow this seat too quickly to get my money's worth. I needn't have feared that, she still has plenty of room. I put my 6 year old in the seat to compare and he's just barely too tall for the top harness. Right out of the box I was impressed with the quality. These seats are NICE. They are the most comfortable and the most sturdy seats I have used. The latch system was incredible - this is the best installation I have ever done on a car seat. Seeing how secure I was able to install this seat made me realize how bad my previous installations (with other car seats) must have been. The two negatives I can think of is that there is no built in cup holders as with the Frontier and that the seat fabric is fuzzy. I can see how this might be a problem in the summer. But I still think this seat is outstanding and will definitely recommend it to all my pregnant friends!

Impressive design, really. Some products leave you wishing they had polished off the edges. But that costs extra money, and most businesses choose not to. But this Britax seat is elegantly and thoroughly designed.

Multiple seat angles, front and rear facing, FAA approved, aluminum frame, anchors on the front AND back for stability, short-distance caddie accessory option, built-in baggies to hold excess strap lengths, and even velcro on the straps to attach it to the side of the seat to make it easy to move the child in and out of the seat without having to dig for the strap harness. And it's so light! And super soft! Other competitors backing is just a hard surface with a very thin foam pad for the child's back. Britax's backing is very plush and comfortable. I'm 100% sold on this design. Comparing the different brands in the store was hard, but friends said to go with Britax so we did. Now that we've used it, we know right away all the ways it outperforms competitor designs.

Absolutely a no-regrets purchase.

I recently purchased this car seat for my 7 month old. I was tired of dragging around the infant seat! I really like it. It can be used rear-facing or front-facing. It has several different ways to secure the seat to your vehicle which is nice. My son seems to be very comfortable and secure in it. It also comes with lots of padding that can be removed as they grow. And the area around their head is adjustable (height wise) to grow with them as well. The car seat is also very attractive which is a plus! I also like the little velcro tabs that hold the straps out of the way while you place the child in the seat. This feature is very helpful! The only complaint that I have is that this car seat is HUGE! I drive a mid-sized suv and had to put it in the center of the back seat while it is rear-facing because it wouldn't fit behind the front seats to allow enough room for the driver or passenger to sit comfortably. It will be fine front-facing.
